A female doctor with blonde hair, wearing a white coat and stethoscope, sitting on a beige chair in front of a wooden wall.

Dr. Austin Dennard is a board-certified OB-GYN and minimally invasive pelvic surgeon whose career has been defined by a single, enduring conviction: that every woman deserves evidence-based care, genuine shared decision-making, and an unwavering advocate in her corner at every stage of her life.

A sixth-generation Texan, Dr. Dennard completed her undergraduate education at the University of Oklahoma and earned her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, one of the nation’s foremost academic medical institutions, followed by an advanced pelvic surgery fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery with North Texas Gynecologic Oncology. She subsequently served as a clinical professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center, contributing to the training of the next generation of women’s health physicians.

Dr. Dennard holds board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). Her specialized clinical expertise centers on perimenopause, menopause management, and hormonal health, disciplines she has pursued with scholarly depth and clinical precision. She holds fellowship standing with The Menopause Society and maintains active membership in the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) and the Society of Family Planning, professional societies that reflect her comprehensive approach to women’s health across the lifespan.

Dr. Dennard’s philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that women’s health equity begins in the reproductive years and extends through midlife and beyond. Too many women have been dismissed, undertreated, or denied access to evidence-based care at precisely the moments when that care is most consequential. Her clinical work, her public advocacy, and her media presence are unified by one mission: to change that, for this generation of women, and the next.

She lives in Dallas, Texas, with her husband, a board-certified OB-GYN, and their four children.
